Anita Helen Hoggard, 49, of the 1000 block of Casanova Drive, died Sept. 10, 1996, in her residence.
She is a beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, James A. Hoggard; five sons, Richard Hack of Odessa, Texas, Carl Allshouse Jr. of Virginia Beach, Mike Allshouse of Richmond, and James and Johnathan Hoggard, both of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Amanda Shupe of Virginia Beach and Dana Powers of Manns Harbor, N.C.; a brother, Robert Thomas of Fredericksburg, Va.; three sisters, Frances Smith of Saxe, Va., Barbara Hillis of Hayward, Calif., and Connie Cherrix of Lexington Park, Md.; and five grandchildren, Eric, Aiden, Conner, Arial and Frankie. She will be deeply missed by all.
A Christian wake service will be held 7 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, by the Rev. Dwight E. Shrader. A chapel service will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
