Julia Ann Bray, 79, of the 1700 block of Parrish St., died Sept. 9, 1996, in a local hospital.
She was the widow of Milton Bray. Born in Norfolk County, she was a domestic worker.
Survivors include a daughter, Sarah O. Parker; a grandchild, Wilhelmina Bray of Chesapeake; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter in Metropolitan Funeral Service Chapel, Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 2517 Broad St., Chesapeake, at noon Friday for a funeral procession to the chapel.
