A city worker was injured Wednesday morning when someone fired several gunshots at the car he was driving, police spokeswoman Maravia Ebong said.
Ebong said C.E. McCaskill was traveling north on Tidewater Drive about 10:08 a.m. When he approached the Shoop Avenue intersection, his city of Norfolk Chevette was struck twice by gunfire, Ebong said.
Ebong said McCaskill followed a possible suspect's vehicle to the 3000 block of Lorraine Ave.
McCaskill was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for injuries he sustained from flying glass.
Two men were questioned by detectives but had not been charged late Wednesday. by CNB
