Cierra Rose Carter, 8, died Sept. 10, 1996, in her residence.
A fourth-grader at Strawbridge Elementary School, she was a Baptist. She was born in Panama City Beach, Fla.
Survivors include her mother, Traci Rae Carter and father, Zachery Charles Carter, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Casey Rae Carter of Verona, Va.; a half-sister, Timara Lynn Carter of Verona; a half-brother, Zackary Anthony Carter of Virginia Beach; paternal grandparents, David and Marilyn Ramey of Culloden, W. Va.; maternal grandmother, Ava Jean Rose Wright of Virginia Beach; and great-grandmother, Florence Carter of Culloden, W.Va. She was predeceased by a great-grandfather, Charles Carter of Culloden, W. Va., and grandfather, William Wright of Miami, Fla.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Chapel by the Sea at Dam Neck by the Chaplain Scott Davis and the Rev. Warren L. Reeves. Private burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
