KARL JAHN

Karl Jahn, 62, of the 700 block of Pinebrook Drive, beloved husband and father, died Sept. 11, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mr. Jahn was a native of Auburn, N.Y., and retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Mr. Jahn was a member of Ducks Unlimited and belonged to Blue Pete Haven and Chestertown, Md., Hunt Clubs.

Survivors include his wife of over 41 years, Shirley S. Jahn; a daughter, Karen L. DiDomenico of Chesapeake; two sons, Karl W. Jahn Jr. and wife, Shari, and Michael F. Jahn and wife, Marcey, of Virginia Beach; a brother, Robert F. Jahn and wife, Jacqueline, of Cromwell, Conn.; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and many treasured friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by Father John Peck, OSB. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. today where a wake service will be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. Jahn to Hope Haven Childrens Home, 3000 North Landing Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23456.
