Patricia Ellen Sharp, 37, of the 1400 block of Hampton Blvd., died Sept. 12, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Born in Cape May, N.J., she was a curatorial assistant for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum since 1991. She was a 1981 graduate of College of New Rochelle in New York and former president of Tidewater Weavers Guild of Norfolk. She was a member of British Isles Dancers.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth P. Sharp of Marmora, N.J.; a brother, Raymond L. Sharp Jr. of Cedarville, N.J.; two nieces, Robin Haaf and Traci Hemple, both of Bridgeton, N.J.; and her fiance, James W. Simpkins of Norfolk.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today after which the body will be sent to Langley Funeral Home, Tuckahoe, N.J. for services. Burial will be in Petersburg Methodist Cemetery, Petersburg, N.J. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be to the Children's Museum of Portsmouth.
