GEORGE EASON

George ``Jokie'' Eason, 52, died Sept. 8, 1996 at Louise Obici Hospital, Suffolk.

Mr. Eason was a native of Sunbury, N.C. He was a machine operator for Pratt Whitney Aircraft.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Ruby Kee Eason; two daughters, Deborah A. Eason and Patricia D. Eason, both of Waterbury; three sons, William A. Eason and Edward R. Eason, both of Waterbury, and James D. Eason of North Miami Beach, Fla. Other survivors include his mother, Addie Mae Eason; a sister, Marian F. Eason; and a brother, Willie E. Eason, all of Sunbury.

A funeral is planned for 2 p.m. today in St. Paul Baptist Church, Sunbury. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Creecy-Creecy Funeral Home, Gatesville, is in charge of services.
