The parents of children sexually abused in the late '80s and
early '90s by Emmett E. ``Satch'' Smith did not know of the abuses
until early this year after they had been reported to police.
A story Tuesday about the sentencing of Smith to three years in
prison for taking indecent liberties with children incorrectly
