Ralph Ashley Ingersoll, 65, of the 100 block of Sir Richards Drive, died Wednesday Sept. 11, 1996, in Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Ingersoll was born Jan. 15, 1930, in Philadelphia. He was the son of the late Clayton and Pauline John Ingersoll and the loving husband of Sachiko Kobayshi, who survives. He was an inspector for the Federal Aviation Association and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, David B. Ingersoll of Kill Devil Hills, and a brother, Clayton Ingersoll of Scullville, N.J.
A graveside service will be held in Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens, Manteo, N.C., on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Warren Chapman officiating. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
