Sunday, Sept. 8, 5:50 p.m. My electric power has gone off and on three times in the past 30 minutes. This is the third or fourth time this has happened in 10 days. Am I living in Virginia Beach or some Banana Republic? I call Virginia Power, hang on for 10 minutes and get no answer. Maybe power is not supposed to go off on Sunday afternoons.
Is it unreasonable to expect a continuous flow of electricity in exchange for the continuous flow of dollars we pay?
Please, Virginia non-Power, let us have a week or two or even three of uninterrupted service. If you can't achieve that modest goal, how about rebating us for non-service time?
