Axie Brockett ``Toots'' Diggs, 87, of Cape Coral, Fla., died Thursday Sept. 12, 1996.
A native of Norfolk, she moved to Florida in 1940 and resided in Cape Coral for the past 16 years. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Cape Coral.
Survivors include her husband, George C. Diggs Sr.; a daughter, Sandra Johnson of Fort Myers, Fla.; two sons, George C. Diggs Jr. of Cape Coral, Barry B. Diggs of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery, Moon, Va.
