Cecil J. ``Mac'' McCary, 64, of the 700 block of Clearfield Ave., died Sept. 12, 1996.
Born in Edgefield County, S.C., Mr. McCary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include two daughters, Regina Roberts of Atlantic Beach, Fla., Lisa Carole McCary of Norfolk; a son, C. John McCary of Newport News; his mother, Mary J. Brown of Norfolk; two sisters, Carolyn Strickland and Rio Perry, both of Virginia Beach; a brother, William C. McCary Jr. of Norfolk; four grandchildren, David and Carol Hudak, Rebecca and Sarah McCary. He was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine M. McCary.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. John Dorgan. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
