Archie R. Pugh, 81, of the 6400 block of Horton Circle, died Sept. 13, 1996.
A native of Norfolk, Mr. Pugh was retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility after 27 years of service, and he was an usher for Norfolk Scope for over 10 years. He was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sister, Evelyn Nichols of Norfolk; a brother, St. Elmo Pugh of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
His body will be donated for scientific study. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society.
