GUN RUNNING ISN'T WARM AND FUZZY

I am writing in response to the Sept. 8 article, ``Brotherhood of the Gunrunners.'' A better title would have read: ``Hoods of the Gunrunners.''

The photos had brief profiles on each ``runner'' - ``A beautiful guy,'' ``intelligent,'' ``a gentle person,'' ``bright,'' ``funny,'' etc.

I was outraged before even reading the article. It they were so ``wonderful, talented and smart,'' they wouldn't be where there are now - with criminal records! What did these nice guys think the guns were for?

These are all grown men (not boys) who got off too easy. They should know better and so should The Pilot.

Next time leave out the ``warm and fuzzies'' - there's nothing ``gentle and fuzzy'' about guns.
