Eva N. Harrington, 75, of the 800 block of City Park Ave., died Sept. 15, 1996, at home.
She was a Murfreesboro, N.C., native and a member of the Lee Memorial Baptist Church in Chesapeake, the Tidal Wave Chapter No. 9 Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Horace E. Harrington Sr.; her son, Horace E. ``Gene'' Harrington Jr. of Bethlehem, Pa.; sisters, Ruth Isreal of Edenton, N.C., and Olive Hardison of North Carolina; a brother, Cecil Newsome of Woodland, N.C.; grandchildren, Karen Lee Harrington of Bethlehem, Pa., and Katherine J. Harrington of Mechanicsburg, Pa.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lee Memorial Baptist Church with Dr. Ray O. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland.
