FISHING FOR TROUBLE

Lately, while relaxing on the beach at Ocean View, I've been noticing the police and Coast Guard cracking down heavily on people saltwater fishing without a license. These were people whose only crime in life was trying to enjoy a couple of hours of relaxation after working hard all week.

Is this what we as taxpayers are paying our law enforcers to do? Shouldn't they be concentrating all their efforts on making our city a safe and decent place to raise our families? With all the ``real'' criminals out running loose, murderers, drug pushers, etc., I hardly think that people fishing pose any threat to our society.
