Jerome L. Laws, 84, of the 1300 block of Harley Ave., died Sept. 13, 1996.
Mr. Laws retired as a self-employed landscaper. He was a member of First Baptist Church South Portsmouth and a Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include his wife, Rena Laws; a daughter, Dora Griffin; four sons, John L. King, Linwood Tillery, Morris Parker, Milton Parker; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church South Portsmouth by the Rev. Warren Amlet. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will be at 310 Beech St. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
