Stephen Brent Dunton, 27, of the 500 block of Peak Court, died Friday, Sept. 13, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
He was born in Greensboro, N.C., and was a Third Class aviation machinist mate for the U.S. Navy. He attended the Harvest Assembly of God in Chesapeake and was a member of Neighborhood Watch.
Survivors include his father, John F. Dunton of Greensboro; his mother, Carole A. Bonsall of Greensboro; his wife, Michele Dunton of Virginia Beach; and a brother, Mike Dunton of Greensboro.
A funeral service will be held at the NAS Oceana Chapel on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
A funeral service will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Greensboro, at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Curney Parker. Burial will follow at Westminister Gardens, Greensboro. Twiford Funeral Home, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, is handling all arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
