Emma Blake Williams, 97, died Sept. 16, 1996.
A native of Fairfield, N.C., she was the widow of Harold L. Williams. She was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth W. Berry of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. William Griffin. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, and also at the residence of a granddaughter, Helen Calvert, 4629 Southampton Arch, Portsmouth.
