DEATH AND THE TOENAIL

Parents should have the choice to let a critically ill newborn die. People dying should have the choice to die. But if Jack Kevorkian gets his way, a person in pain and desperate because of an infected ingrown toenail will be put out of his or her misery before the toe has a chance to heal and the person has a chance to feel better.

His last customers were not dying. They only wanted to die. That is not my idea of good or heroic.
