Jonathan P. Rapoport, 41, of the 800 block of West Princess Anne Road, died Sept. 17, in a local hospital.
Mr. Rapoport was born in Connecticut. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 15 years of service and then worked for the firm of Hardee and Hennessy, PC, Chesapeake, Va., as a paralegal.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeni Rapoport of Florida and Olivia Rapoport of Louisiana; his father, Dr. Leonard M. Rapoport of California; two brothers, Sheldon Rapoport and Lawrence Rapoport; and special friends in Norfolk and Connecticut.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday Sept. 19, 1996, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Norfolk Chapel by Rabbi Israel Zoberman. Memorial donations may be made to Jewish Family Services of Tidewater. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, will be handling the arrangements.
