Rose May Carper Beck, died Sept. 14, 1996.
A Norfolk native, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer P. Carper. A registered nurse, Rose was a graduate of the first class held at the DePaul Hospital School of Nursing.
Surviving are a son, J. Rodney DeBiaso of Huntington Beach, Calif.; daughters, Roda DeBeaso of Santa Anna, Cassandra Ryder of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Other survivors are a brother, the Rev. Homer P. Carper Jr. of Norfolk; and sisters, Mrs. Frank Green of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Mrs. Dorothy Hobbs of Lexington, S.C.
A funeral service will be held Sept. 20, in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Whittier, Calif.
