Henry S. Taylor, 76, of the 2900 block of Kilbride Drive, died Sept. 16, 1996, in Norfolk.
He was retired from working in heating and air cooling and maintenance. He was born in Martin County, N.C., and was a member of Sweet Home Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine N. Taylor; three daughters, Jean Boodt of Virginia Beach, Judy Mayhew of Kansas and Glen Goff of Nevada; five sons, Buck Taylor, Monk Taylor and Tony Taylor, all of Chesapeake, Sam Taylor of Nevada and Henry Taylor of Virginia Beach; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Frank Howlett in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
