GLORIA Q. LYONS

Gloria Quesenberry Lyons, 61, beloved wife and mother, died Sept. 16, 1996.

Born in McDowell County, W.Va., Mrs. Lyons was a communications officer for the Virginia Beach Police Department. Gloria attended Tidewater Community College and created beautiful cross-stitch. Her love and devotion to her family exceeded only by her love of God. She was preceded in death by her mother, Letishia Ann Quesenberry; her father, John Henry Quesenberry; and her brother, Bill Quesenberry.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Harold F. ``Buddy'' Lyons; children, Ann Marie Lyons Williams and Lee A. Williams of Bethlehem, Ga.; brothers, Johnny Quesenberry of Valls Creek, W.Va., James D. Quesenberry of Tazewell, Va., Sammy Quesenberry of Berwind, W.Va., Robert M. Quesenberry of War, W.Va., Danny Quesenberry of Lansing, Mich.; and sisters, Joan Q. McDuffie of Virginia Beach and Ann Paxton of Geneva, Fla.

Burial will be in Barro Memorial Gardens, Winder, Ga. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
