Terri Kirby Hathaway, education curator at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, was recently elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the National Marine Educators Association, a non-profit corporation dedicated to the study and enjoyment of the world of water.
Hathaway, who lives in Southern Shores, has worked as the education curator at the aquarium since 1985. She is responsible for designing and conducting all educational programs for the aquarium, and coordinating and implementing a comprehensive outreach program. by CNB
