PREJUDICE ON BOTH SIDES

The letter to the editor ``Thomas' new home'' (Sept. 16) is a prime example of modern-day prejudice towards this Supreme Court judge.

Clarence Thomas is hailed by both black and white Americans because he believes in equal treatment for all, without having to be skin-color specific.

If you want to have a government system set up to help the poor, then it should be for all the poor, of whatever ethnic background they may be.

This trend to judge fellow human beings by their skin color first, then to classify them as hypocrites for not blindly following the party line, is causing more prejudice growth than most anything else.
