MACE A. SACKS

Mace A. Sacks, 93, of the 1000 block of Justis St., died Sept. 21, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mr. Sacks was a native of Norfolk. He was the widower of Bertha Levy Sacks and was preceded in death by his son, John H. Sacks. He was a member of Ohef Sholom Temple in Norfolk.

Survivors include two sisters, Frances Filtzer and Mildred Cohen and her husband, Isadore, all of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Sidney Sacks of Baltimore; a grandson, Maj. John R. Sacks of the U.S. Army and his wife, Tina; two great-granddaughters, Katherine and Melanie Sacks, all of Kansas; a daughter-in-law, Lucia G. Sacks of Los Angeles, Calif.; and a cousin, Stanley Sacks, and his wife, Carole, of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
