A native of Portsmouth, Mrs. Hoffler was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and the Rebecca Sunday School Class. She retired from Spector Freight Systems.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Eddie Hoffler; a son, Thomas Edward Hoffler Jr. and his wife, Abbe, of Chesapeake; a sister, Katherine Nesbit of Norfolk; and two grandchildren, Meredith R. Hoffler and Natalie M. Hoffler.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, by the Rev. Gene V. Primm. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials can be made to the Bethany Baptist Church or Hope Haven.
