William Henry Jones, 59, of the 5900 block of Campbell St., died Sept. 21, 1996.
He was a veteran and a retired employee of Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Survivors include his mother, Sarah B. Jones; seven sisters, Catherine Dixon, Geneva Tolliver, Lessie Sykes, Janie White, Mamie Flynn, Ruth Laurey, Beulah Aaron; two brothers, Fred Jones and Perkins Jones; and several other friends and relatives.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Melvin O. Marriner Sr. in Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk.
