RONALD D. VINCENT

Ronald Dean ``Tater'' Vincent, 32, of the 900 block of Vine St., died Sept. 22, 1996.

Born in Southampton County, he was a soil conservationist with the U.S. Department of Natural Resources Services. He was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church, Greenville County, Va., and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Pine Tree Hunt Club.

Survivors include his son, Ronald Dean Flythe; his mother, Helen Nichols Vincent; his father, Sherman Vincent Sr.; a sister, Sharon Mason; three brothers, Sherman Vincent Jr., Rodney Vincent and Reginald Vincent; a brother-in-law, Michael Mason; and a sister-in-law, Kimberly W. Vincent.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today by the Rev. Arthur Wiggins in Mars Hill Baptist Church, Greenville County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Engram Funeral Home Inc., Courtland, is in charge.
