Edward Albert Dawson, 86, of 3108 Yeates Lane, Virginia Beach, died at his home on Sept. 25, 1996, after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mariann; a sister and brother, Margarite Morrison and Curtis Dawson, both of Philadelphia; a brother-in-law, Orion Husted of New York; a stepson, Howard Cox of Armonk, N.Y.; two nephews, David Morrison and Robert Dawson; and two nieces, Marilyn Riley and Gale Husted.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m., at Lynnhaven United Methodist Church, 1033 Little Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. The family will receive friends at the residence on Friday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at Lynnhaven United Methodist Church.
