PERCY K. KEEFER

Percy K. Keefer, 79, died Sept. 25, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.

A native of Lexington, Va., Mr. Keefer was a retired quality control civil service employee at the Newport News Navy Shipyard. He was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church, Norview Masonic Lodge (NU)113 and Veterans of Foreign Wars (NU)4809. Mr. Keefer was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche Keefer of Norfolk; two sons, Douglas S. Keefer of Chesapeake and Bruce A. Keefer of Virginia Beach; a brother, Robert Keffer of Richmond, Va.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Sorrell Keefer.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in W.B. Harrison Co. Mortuary, Lexington, by the Rev. Herb Holton. Burial will be in Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, Lexington. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. The family asks that memorials be made to any children's organization of the donor's choice.
