Rena Mae Turner, 75, of the 1200 block of Virginia St., died Sept. 24, 1996, in Obici Hospital, Suffolk.
Mrs. Turner was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Turner.
Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Ricks of Arlington, Va., and Glenda M. Turner of Washington, D.C.; sons, Carol L. Turner of Franklin, James Turner of Woodbridge, Va., and Thomas Turner Jr. of Dale City, Va.; sisters, Beactrice Brown of Franklin and Shirley Taylor of Suffolk; 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, five sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Sunday in New Hope Baptist Church, Franklin, by the Rev. Anthony Goodwyn. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, Franklin. P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services Inc. is in charge. There will be viewing at Entrusting Hands Funeral Home, Franklin, at 7 p.m. today and all day Saturday.
