Zelmer H. Lineberry, 87, of the 800 block of Weiss Lane, died Sept. 27, 1996.
Born in Galax, Va., he was a member of Lansdale Baptist Church, Norfolk, and retired from Bethlehem Steel Company.
Survivors include four daughters, Audrey Noel of Woodlawn, Va., Gladys Colbert of Princeton, W.Va., Louise Roos of Conyers, Ga., Lou Garbus of Chesapeake; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two wives, Mildred Susan Lineberry and Espella K. Lineberry, and his youngest daughter, Patricia Ann Griffin.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Vaughan-Guyn Funeral Home, Galax. Burial will be in Gladeville Cemetery, Galax. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Memorial contributions should be made to the Living Memorial Bible Plan of Gideons International, P.O. Box 1102, Chesapeake, Va. 23320.
