Andrew Thomas Sivertson Jr., 65, of the 600 block of Nottingham Road died Sept. 27, 1996.
A native of Portsmouth, Mr. Sivertson was employed at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a general foreman. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Sivertson; a daughter, Denise King of South Boston, Va.; a son, Gary T. Sivertson of Chesapeake; a sister, Doris Crawford of Portsmouth; a brother, Milton Sivertson of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Jared and Grant Sivertson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Tom Potter. The family will receive friends in the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
