Harry Glenn Francis Jr., 64, a native of Bertie County, died Sept. 27, 1996, in Albermarle Hospital.
He was a retired Air Force veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam conflict with 22 years of service. Mr. Francis was a member of the Nags Head Baptist Church and was employed by Tan-A-Rama Motel.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Walker Francis; a daughter, Loretta F. Parker of Aulander, N.C.; two sons, Danny Francis of Cashe, Okla., Steve Francis of Raleigh, N.C.; three sisters, Sadie F. Naler of Suffolk; Theresa F. Howard of Nicholasville, Ky., Deborah F. Boyd of Portsmouth; a brother, Robert ``Bob'' Francis of Windsor, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Aulander Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the home of Loretta F. Parker, 2022 Charles Taylor Road, Aulander. Walker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
