After reading the Sept. 23 article explaining the amounts spent on lobbying the federal government, I am appalled at the Christian Coalition's misuse of God's money! The attempt of Pat Robertson and his ``Moral Majority'' to force people to live the way they feel everyone should live, is ludicrous.
In my opinion, the $5.9 million that was spent lobbying the government could have been much better spent purchasing and distributing Bibles, missionary work abroad, aiding the poor and spreading the news of the choice of God's salvation through Christ Jesus, rather than trying to force people to live righteously.
