Sheriff Gary W. Waters was elected to represent Region 10 by the Virginia Sheriff's Association at g1pthon29 Waters
the annual convention of the Virginia State Sheriffs Association recently in Virginia Beach.
Region 10 encompasses the counties of Isle of Wight, James City, York, Accomac, Northampton and the cities of Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Suffolk, Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg.
Waters' responsibilities include keeping all sheriffs in Region 10 informed of all activities and legislative actions of the Virginia Sheriffs Association. Waters will hold the title for one year. by CNB
