Irma Robins Smith, 89, died Sept. 29, 1996, in N.A.M. Hospital, Nassawadox, Va.
Mrs. Smith was the widow of Warner Wise Smith Sr. and the daughter of the late George and Laura Hanby Robins. She was a member of Cheriton United Methodist Church and a past member of the United Daughters of Confederacy.
Survivors include his daughters, Barbara S. Robinson of Bellbrook, Ohio, and Martha S. Meinhardt of Virginia Beach; a son, Warner Wise Smith Jr. of Grafton, Va.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Cape Charles Cemetery by the Rev. Roy Neff. Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, is in charge. Memorials can be made to Cape Charles Rescue Service, Cape Charles, Va. 23310 or to the Cheriton United Methodist Church, Cheriton, Va. 23316.
