Ella M. Banks, 80, of the 600 block of Minute Man Road, died Sept. 30, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the widow of Lenley F. Banks.
Survivors include two sons, John G. Banks of Virginia Beach and his family, Douglas MacKay of Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters of Canada.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Pastor David B. Howard. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Orange, Fla.
