BLOIS JACKSON

Blois Jackson, of the 1400 block of Woodbridge Trail, died Sept. 26, 1996.

Born in Cape Charles, Va., Mr. Jackson retired from the City of Norfolk's Department of Utilities after 35 years of service. He was a Baptist and served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Jennett M. Jackson, two stepdaughters, Artis Foulks, Thelma Mathis, both of Virginia Beach; two stepsons, Marvin Mathis, Wayne Mathis, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Virginia Jackson of Chesapeake; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other devoted relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Dr. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1424 Woodbridge Trail, Virginia Beach, at 1 p.m. Thursday for the procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
