Margaret Evans, 87, died Oct. 1, 1996, in a Norfolk nursing home.
She was the widow of Wallace E. Evans, a teacher for the city of Norfolk and a native of Cuba, Ill. She was a member of Burrows Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Evans was a Bible teacher for many years and a fine Christian woman who will be missed by many.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Don Harris. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of one's choice.
