Lonnie Miles of the 5300 block of Libertyville Road died Sept. 30, 1996, in Bayside Hospital.
A native of Marion, S.C., Mr. Miles was a Baptist. He was also retired.
Survivors include two daughters, Vanessa Knight of Norfolk and Lisa Best of Chesapeake; a son, Ronald Miles of Chesapeake; a brother, James Miles of Chester, Pa.; four grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Darlene Miles.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday in New Galilee Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Anderson Foreman Jr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. Viewing of the remains will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday. The family will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m.
