Beverly Ann Foster Willaford, 57, of the 6600 block of Fordwick Drive, died Sept. 30, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was a telephone operator for Sentara Health System for two years. She previously worked in the Portsmouth Circulation Department of The Virginian-Pilot and The Ledger-Star for 18 years.
Survivors include her husband, William Bateman Willaford; a stepdaughter, Martha W. King of Arvada, Colo.; two stepsons, William B. Willaford III of Ashland, Va., Timothy Earl Willaford of Ovid, Mich.; four brothers, Jackson S. Foster Jr., Thomas M. Foster, Richard S. Foster, all of Virginia Beach; Robert M. Foster of Oklahoma City, Okla.; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by the Rev. Ted Bashford. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 3344 Eagle Nest Point, Virginia Beach, after the service.
