Norfolk's Transportation Department of Public Works has closed lanes on Monticello Ave. for work on water and sewer lines for the MacArthur Center.
Lanes affected through Saturday are the southbound curb lane on Monticello Avenue at City Hall Avenue and the westbound lanes on City Hall Avenue at Monticello Avenue. Through traffic will be maintained.
Beginning Saturday and continuing until Jan. 31, the north and southbound lanes on Monticello Avenue between City Hall Avenue and Brambleton Avenue will be closed. At least one lane of through traffic in each north-south direction will be maintained. by CNB
