Police said a woman whose body was found Tuesday night near Forest Lawn Cemetery had jumped out of a truck as it sped about 40 mph along Granby Street.
Police said the woman, Deborah W. Merriman, 37, of the 9500 block of 16th Bay St. in Ocean View, jumped from the pickup truck about 10 p.m. Tuesday after an argument with her boyfriend, Robert Huskey, who was driving.
Merriman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was taken to the Norfolk Crime Lab to determine the cause of death.
Huskey, 36, of the same address, was charged with driving under the influence.
