Lisa Ann Felton has been named assistant director of Ports Events, a non-profit organization that produces special events for Portsmouth.
Felton will continue as special events manager, handling logistics, coordinating volunteers and supervising the support staff at Ports Events. She also will provide backup at the Willett Hall Box Office.
As assistant manager, Felton will oversee promotion, book entertainment and monitor budgets.
A five-year employee of Ports Events, Felton also has served as administrative assistant and office manager.
Ports Events was started 10 years ago to create a positive image of Portsmouth through special events that emphasize family tradition. Linda Lamm is director of the organization, which has a board of local citizens. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
