As a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam, I find it unconscionable that former member of the U.S. House of Representatives and now convicted felon Dan Rostenkowski, was allowed to undergo surgery at Walter Reed Army Hospital before starting his 17-month sentence on mail fraud. He was no longer a member of Congress and not entitled to treatment at the military hospital. Military retirees have trouble being treated there because of lack of space. Hasn't he stolen enough?
