LOUISE R. GALLOP

Louise R. ``Baby Sis'' Gallop, 77, of the 1100 block of Clydesdale Lane, died Sept. 30, 1996.

Born in Norfolk County, she was the widow of Willie Gallop. She was a member of Holy Light Church of Deliverance, Portsmouth, and the Mother's Board.

Survivors include six daughters, Daphine Gallop-Oliver of Virginia Beach, Rose Lee Rice of Clairton, Pa., Luetta Porter of Chesapeake, Mable Stephens, Willie Mae Boyd, Louise Howard, all of Portsmouth; four sons, George Spence Jr., Frank Spence, Larry Gallop, Anthony Gallop, all of Portsmouth; two brothers, Leroy Ramsey of Pittsburgh, Pa., Alex Jackson of Portsmouth; 67 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a special sister, Rosetta Spence of Portsmouth; a sister-in-law, Gladies Ramsey; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral will be held at noon Saturday in Holy Light Church of Deliverance, Portsmouth, by the Rev. S.L. Carruth. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Portsmouth. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
