Roy Lee Savage, 81, of the 8800 block of London St. died Oct. 2, 1996, in his home.
A native of Wilmington, N.C., raised in Clarkston, S.C., Mr. Savage was a first-class carpenter with 40 years of service. He was a member of Carpenters Local Union No. 331 for 40 years.
Survivors include his sister, Elma Dunn of North Carolina; and his ex-wife, Barbara A. Wary of Norfolk.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Quantico National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
